Welcome to Jesus Rules Ministries
It's been a journey getting here.
When I first started competing professionally in beach volleyball, people asked me what the end goal was. An Olympic medal? A career in the sport? Those things matter — but they were never the why.
The why has always been the Gospel.
Why Jesus Rules Exists
Christians are often taught to separate from the world. To keep their heads down, avoid "secular" spaces, and play it safe. But that's not what Scripture teaches. Jesus told us to be in the world. To be salt and light. To go into all nations.
For me, "all nations" happens to include the AVP tour, the FIVB Beach Pro Tour, and every beach in between.
Jesus Rules Ministries was built on a conviction: if you want people to listen, you need to earn the right to speak. And the way you earn that right is by being excellent at what you do. Not mediocre. Not "good enough." Excellent.
When you compete at the highest level, doors open. People want to know what drives you. And that's when you share the Gospel — not from a soapbox, but from the sand.
What's Coming in 2026
This is going to be our biggest year yet:
- ~20 professional tournaments across the AVP and FIVB tours
- Weekly discipleship training in Orange County (2-3x/week)
- International outreach events — churches and organizations hosting us for volleyball clinics and Gospel preaching
- Documentary production — capturing the ministry's story on film
We're also pursuing something that once felt impossible: the 2028 LA Olympics. I'm currently ranked in the top 40 nationally and putting everything on the line to qualify.
How You Can Be Part of It
This ministry doesn't happen without a team behind it. Every tournament we travel to, every outreach event we host, every week of discipleship training — it all takes resources.
If what we're doing resonates with you, here are some ways to get involved:
- Donate — Support the mission financially. Every dollar goes directly to tournament travel, training, and outreach.
- Shop — Grab some merch. It's a way to represent the ministry and start conversations.
- Subscribe — Get our updates delivered to your inbox.
- Pray — We need it. Every tournament, every outreach, every day.
We're grateful for every person who's been part of this journey so far. And we're just getting started.
See you on the sand.
— Diego
