Serving God, One Game at a Time
How It All Started
Jesus Rules Ministries began as a simple idea: what if volleyball could be more than a sport? What if it could be a vessel for the Gospel?
In 2019, a few players started meeting to pray before matches. Those gatherings grew into full-blown devotionals, then tournaments, then discipleship opportunities across beaches and communities. Soon, players, coaches, and fans from all over were asking to join — not just for competition, but for connection with Christ.
From that spark, Jesus Rules Ministries was born — a movement where athletes are trained to serve not only volleyballs but the Lord Himself.
“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
— 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NKJV)
What We Believe
We believe Jesus Christ is Lord — not only of the church, but of every area of life, including sports. Our goal is to make His name known wherever we play, travel, or train.
At Jesus Rules Ministries, we stand on three pillars:
Faith
Every athlete is first a disciple. We teach players to root their identity in Christ, not in performance.
Community
We build relationships that go beyond the game — encouraging prayer, mentorship, and fellowship.
Purpose
We play with eternal goals, using sports to reach hearts, plant seeds, and change lives.
We’re not here to build trophies — we’re here to build testimonies.
The Shirt That Started It All
Our original JESUS RULES shirt isn’t just apparel — it’s a testimony. It represents boldness, faith, and obedience.
When you wear it, you join a global team of believers unashamed of the Gospel. Every shirt funds ministry work, camps, travel, and discipleship opportunities for athletes across the world.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.”
— Romans 1:16 (NKJV)
What We Do
Our ministry operates on and off the sand:
Volleyball Outreach
Discipleship Training
Camps & Clinics
Missions & Travel
Media & Storytelling
Every serve becomes a sermon, every point a platform
The Heart Behind the Name
When we say “Jesus Rules,” it’s not a slogan — it’s a declaration. It’s our reminder that no matter the score, He reigns supreme. The shirts we wear aren’t merchandise; they’re ministry tools. When someone reads those two words — Jesus Rules — we want them to pause, smile, or even ask a question that leads to a conversation about faith.
The apparel helps fund our outreach, but more importantly, it sparks dialogue. Each shirt becomes a small act of evangelism.
“Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”
— Colossians 4:6 (NKJV)
Our Vision for the Future
We see a generation of athletes who view their gifts as instruments of worship.
Our dream is to expand beyond volleyball — to reach surfers, runners, soccer players, and every competitor who wants to use their sport as a stage for Jesus.
This is more than a program. It’s a movement.
In the coming years, we plan to:
Launch regional discipleship camps.
Establish mission partnerships with churches across the U.S. and beyond.
Create scholarship opportunities for young Christian athletes.
Build a network of sports missionaries who carry the Gospel wherever they play.
Why We Do What We Do
Because God first loved us. Because He gave us the strength to jump, the endurance to run, and the courage to compete. And because we know there’s no victory greater than salvation.
Every player who steps onto the court has a platform — and we’re here to help them use it well.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
— Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)
Get Involved
You don’t have to be an athlete to be part of Jesus Rules Ministries. You can pray with us, serve with us, or support a player on mission. Every contribution — from donations to simple encouragement — helps keep the message of Jesus alive in the world of sports.
At Jesus Rules Ministries, the scoreboard fades, the trophies gather dust, but the souls reached through faith endure forever.
We’re here to remind the world that the greatest victory was already won — and it wasn’t on a court, but on a cross.
“Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)
